IN 2014-15: Appeared in all 33 games for Maine... Scored her first goal of the season against Mercyhurst (10/11)... Added eight more goals on the season, as well as eight assists for a total of 17 points... A member of the Hockey East All Academic Team... Named one of the WHEA All Stars in 2014-2015 for the second year in a row. 

IN 2013-14: Appeared in 31 games for the Black Bears ... Scored a goal against UConn (11/2) ... Scored another goal against Vermont 11/16 ... Scored two goals against Providence ... Notched a goal against Brown ... Scored the game winning goal to defeat PC 1-0 (1/19) ... Notched Maine's game winning goal against UNH 2/1 ... Richards scored a hat trick against UConn and added an assist to help her team achieve a weekend sweep ... Led the team in scoring with 15 goals .. Named Hockey East player of the week three times .... Finished the season with 15 goals and three assists for 18 points... Ranked sixth overall in Hockey East for most goals scored and seventh for game winning goals scored with three in the 2013-2014 season ... Named one of the WHEA Honorable Mention All Stars in 2013-2014.

In 2012-13: Appeared in all 33 games as a freshman... Registered seven goals and six assists (13 points)... First career goal was in a 6-1 loss at Quinnipiac (10/12)... First career assist was at Boston University (10/26)... Scored two goals for her first career multi point game as a Black Bear in a 4-3 loss against Providence (11/2)... Season was highlighted with a +4 rating at Vermont (2/9) in which she registered one goal and two assists... Ended her freshman campaign with a -8 rating. 

Before Maine: Competed for the Minnesota Thoroughbreds in 2011-12 where she was named as a captain... Scored 44 goals and 11 assists to lead the team in points... Richards also competed on the Junior Women's Hockey League (JWHL) All Star Team in 2012... Academic Letter Winner... Richards also competed in Track and Field; being named MVP and All-Conference (3 years)... She also played soccer where she would be named MVP as well.

Personal: A Kinesiology and Physical Education major... Born on July 19, 1994... Daughter of Amy and Scott Richards... Two siblings, Hayley and McKenna.
