Isaac Forbes enters his 11th season as the Diving Coach for the Black Bears in 2024-25. He coached for the Black Bears first from 2009-2014 and then returned in 2019.  An alumni of UMaine, he graduated in 2008 with his Bachelor's degree in English. 

Forbes finished his 4-year career diving both 1-Meter and 3-Meter for the Black Bears in 2008. He was a four-time scholar-athlete and in 2007 was voted the Miller Diver Award.

Forbes has guided the Black Bears to school records, Top 10 diving performances in school history, and NCAA Diving Zone Qualifiers.

Isaac and his wife Kristen, both UMaine Diving Alumni, live in Orono with their three children Dylan, Lucas, and Chase.
