IN 2008: Had a strong third year forMaine...started all 19 games...named to the ESPN TheMagazine/CoSIDA All-Academic District I Third Team...named to theAmerica East All-Academic Team...scored the game-winning goalagainst Binghamton (10/5)...named to the America EastCommissioner's Academic Honor Roll and was a Maine Scholar-AthleteAward winner.

IN 2007: Had a great second year for the BlackBears...started all 17 games...named to the America East SecondTeam and the All-Academic team...had the game-winning goal againstHoly Cross (9/21)...named a Maine Scholar-Athlete and named to theAmerica East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

IN 2006: Had a solid rookie campaign for theBlack Bears... started all 20 games for Maine... one of just sevenplayers and two rookies to start all 20 games... scored lone goalin 1-1 tie with nationally ranked UConn (8/27)... part of a Mainedefense which was ranked second in the nation in goals againstaverage... named to the America East Commissioner's Academic HonorRoll and a named a UMaine Academic "Rising Star."

BEFORE UMAINE: Two-year captain for coach P.Anagnostoplous at John McCrae Secondary School... captain of theOttawa Fury U17 Team in 2005... team finished as WoodbridgeShowcase champions... played for the Ottawa Fury U17 team in 2004which finished in second place in the New England Division...attended the North American Finals... also a standout in icehockey, field hockey and volleyball.

PERSONAL: A biochemistry major... born12/9/88... daughter of Donald and Eleanor Hodgson... father waspart of the 1980 Canadian Olympic cycling team and a National GoldMedalist in 1979, 1980 and 1981.
