FRESHMAN (2022-23): Skated in 20 games … made his collegiate debut at Colgate (Dec. 31) … scored two goals and assisted on one for three points … tallied his first career point against Alaska Anchorage (Jan. 7) ... BEFORE MAINE: Hailing from Paradise Valley, Arizona, he joins the Black Bears after spending the 2020-21 season in the NCDC before signing with a team in the NAHL during the 2021-22 season. Over the two seasons, the forward recorded eight total goals and 15 assists over 71 games for four different franchises. His father, Keith Carney, was a two-time All-American defenseman at the University of Maine, where he amassed 126 points on 14 goals and 112 assists in his three years for the Black Bears.
