2009: Played in all 11 games, starting in six . . . made 13 tackles (4 ST, 9 AT) and had 2.5 for loss . . . made two tackles against St. Cloud State (9/3) . . . had three tackles, including 0.5 for loss at Albany (9/19) . . . had a sack against No. 1 Richmond . . . notched two tackles including one for loss against Rhode Island (11/14). 2008: Started all 13 games at defensive tackle (his first full season as a starter) … recorded 34 tackles (13 ST, 21 AT), including 1.5 for loss (-3 yards) and 0.5 sacks (-1 yard) … made at least five tackles in three games … had two tackles in first collegiate game at Iowa (8/30) … totaled three tackles and half a sack versus Stony Brook (9/13) … made a career-high seven stops versus top-ranked James Madison (9/27) … recorded four stops against Hofstra (10/18) … had a stop behind the line of scrimmage against New Hampshire (11/22) … recorded one tackle versus Northern Iowa (11/29) in the playoffs … named the team’s Defensive Rookie of the Year. 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt … was named the scout team co-player of the year.
