BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Finished with 2,071 yards and 27 touchdowns in high school; a two-time first team all-conference and all-state selection; voted the Maine Class A Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior; finalist for the James J. Fitzpatrick trophy, given to the top senior high school football player in Maine; led his team to a 7-1 regular season and a spot in the Western Maine Class A Championship game; participated in competitive boxing since the age of 12; also ran track and played lacrosse; two-time honor roll member.
