Sam Lenson joined the Maine Football staff in the summer of 2019 as special teams quality control coach.
In his first season, Lenson mentored Maine's kickers and punters.
Lenson was recruited to University of Maine and was a member of the football team from 2013-2017 as a punter, kicker and holder. As an undergraduate, he received the 2017 UMaine Male Athlete of the Year award as well as being a finalist for the 2017 America East Conference Man of the Year award.
Lenson graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership.
