2009: Played in eight games on the ofensive line and at the tight end position . . . Made a catch for 13 yards against Rhode Island (11/14). 2008: Saw limited action in six games last season, including the playoff game at Northern Iowa (11/29). 2007: Did not see any game action. 2006: Saw limited action in three games, including time against Shaw (9/23), Boston College (9/30) and Towson (10/7) ... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Rising Star. Before Maine/Personal: Played on the offensive line for coach Keith Hartbauer at Peter’s Township H.S. ... won his team’s “Iron Man” Award for hardest working player during the offseason in 2003 and 2004 ... earned three varsity letters ... named his team’s most improved player during the 2004 season ... born June 15, 1988 ... son of David and Janis Batanian ... a business major.
