SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Played in 28 games with 18 starts ... Averaged 10.0 points per game to go along with 4.2 rebounds ... Ranked 14th in scoring amongst America East leaders ... Shot 81.4% from the free throw line, leading the Black Bears in that category and ranking fourth in America East ... Named a Finalist for the America East Fan's Choice Player of the Year ... Scored in double figures for the first time in the season opener against Harvard (11/13)... Scored 11 points and pulled down five rebounds... Doubled her scoring performance in the next game at Bryant (11/19)... Scored 22 points and recorded four steals against the Bulldogs... FRESHMAN (2009-10): UMaine Scholar-Athlete Rising Star... Appeared in three games... Played against Harvard (11/17), Buffalo (11/28) and Vermont (1/7)... Scored her first career points with a basket at Vermont (1/7)... Also pulled down two boards against the Catamounts.

PREP: Played for coach Mandy Zegarowski at Ipswich H.S... Served as a captain... Was named the Cape Ann League Player of the Year as a junior and senior... Was named to the Boston Herald All-Scholastic Team from 2007-09... Was named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team in 2009... Was a 2009 McDonald's All-American nominee... Was named her team's MVP from her sophomore to senior seasons... Is the all-time leading scorer in Ipswich H.S. history (both boys and girls)... Helped guide her team to four-straight Cape Ann League titles... Also played soccer and was a Cape Ann All-League selection in 2006... Earned High Honors in Academics all four years in high school.

PERSONAL: Born March 15, 1991... Daughter of Kurt and Pat Smith.

MAJOR: A mechanical engineering major... Would like to go to grad school and then pursue a career in her field of study (an engineer).
