SENIOR (2016-17): Will serve as an assistant captain for the Black Bears.

JUNIOR (2015-16): Played in 28 games for Maine...Scored two goals and had eight assists for 12 points...Had two multi-point games, in the opening game of the year had two assists versus Michigan State (10/9) and had two assists against UMass (1/30)...Maine Scholar Athlete Award *Silver Medal*.

SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Played in 35 games for the Black Bears... Scored two goals and added nine assists for 11 points... Scored a goal in Maine's 3-1 win over Alaska Anchorage (10/24)... Notched a power play goal in Maine's 3-0 win over UMass (1/10)... Dished out a pair of assists in Maine's victory over Northeastern (2/21)... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... Named to the Hockey East Academic Honor Roll.  

FRESHMAN (2013–14): Played in 27 games his rookie season... Scored three goals and added seven assists for 10 points... Scored his first collegiate goal in Maine’s game against Vermont (11/9)... Tallied a goal in Maine’s win over New Hampshire (1/25).... Also notched a goal against AIC (12/13)... Recorded his first multi-point game with a pair of assists in Maine’s victory over UMass Lowell (12/8)... Was among the team’s +/- leaders with a +10... Blocked 26 shots on the season... Also excelled in the classroom... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star.*... Named to the Hockey East Academic All-Star Team... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team. 

BEFORE MAINE: Split time between the Waterloo Black Hawks and the Lincoln Stars... Played in 37 games last season with a goal and eight assists for nine points... Won two state tournaments with Saint Thomas Academy and was a Mr. Hockey Finalist in Minnesota... Earned the Gatorade Will to Win Award.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 14, 1993... A double major in finance and management with a minor in economics... Son of Thomas and Laura Schurhamer... Has three older brothers and a younger sister.
