ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine defenseman, Dan Renouf, was selected as this week's Hockey East Defensive player of the week.
Renouf helped lead the Black Bears to a weekend sweep against Vermont. In their first game on 11/20, Renouf had two goals and one assist for a total of three points scored in a 3-2 win. On 11/21, he added an assist to bring his weekend total to four points scored and helped the Black Bears secure a 4-1 win.
Maine returns to action this Friday on Nov. 27 against Princeton at 7 p.m.
