Libby Riedl (Port Moody, British Columbia) was named by America East Rookie and Player of the week.
Riedl helped Maine to a 2-0 record this week, including knocking off no. 6 ranked Albany 6-2 on Friday. In that game she totalled one goal and two assists.
Against Vermont on Oct. 11 she had one goal which brought her week total to two goals and two assists.
Maine hosts America East rival UNH on Oct. 16.
