Alexis Bogdanovich (South Portland, Maine) was named America East Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time after she recorded all three wins in the circle for the Black Bears over the weekend. The senior did not give up a run over 11.1 innings, scattering just three hits while striking out 22 and walking just one. Bogdanovich picked up her first victory in game one, fanning 12 in a two-hitter before coming on in relief in game two to earn the win with one strikeout. Bogdanovich closed out the weekend sweep with a five-inning, one-hit shutout in Sunday's finale, striking out nine.
