Banquet to be held on Friday, Oct. 16
ORONO, Maine -- Registration is now open for the 38th annual University of Maine Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, to be held on Friday, Oct. 16 from 5-9 p.m. at Jeff's Catering in Brewer, Maine.
The achievements of these six individual inductees and one team inductee will be celebrated at this prestigious event:
- Amanda Cronin '02, Women's Ice Hockey
- Cory Larose '00, Men's Ice Hockey
- Blanca Millan '21, Women's Basketball
- Rich Miller - Coach, Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving
- Patrick O'Malley '90, Men's Cross Country, Indoor & Outdoor Track
- Frank Preti 1917, Men's Cross Country & Outdoor Track
- 1976 Baseball Team
This year's induction banquet will take place on Friday, October 16 at Jeff's Catering at 15 Event Center Way, Brewer, Maine from 5:00-9:00 p.m. The evening will begin with a social hour and hors d'oeuvres starting at 5:00 p.m. followed by a buffet meal at 6:30 p.m. and the official induction presentations of all the inductees.
This special event will be by reservation only, with limited space available. The registration deadline is set for Oct. 9, but those planning to attend are asked to please reserve as soon as possible.
Adult reservations for the event are available for $75. Children (aged 7-12) are $25 and children 6 and under are free.
