Cross Country announces 2026 Schedule

ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine cross country programs have announced their schedules for the 2026 season.
The Black Bears will once again open their season with a home dual meet against the Army Black Knights at Saxl Park in Bangor on Sept. 4. Maine will then travel to Brunswick to compete in the Maine State Meet, hosted by Bowdoin College, on Sept.19.
The month of October features three meets that the Black Bears will be competing in, first on Oct. 2, they compete in the 52nd annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. The Black Bears will then return to compete in the IC4A/ECAC meet on Oct. 17 at Bethpage Park on Long Island, N.Y. Maine returns to the America East Championships in Albany, N.Y., where the women's program looks to defend the 2025 America East Championship.
The NCAA Northeast Regionals will held at Hofstra University on Nov. 13 while the NCAA Championships will be held in Terre Haute, Ind. the following weekend on Nov. 21.
