Maine, who led 30-16 at halftime, found the endzone again on its first drive of the second half. Peevy capped off a 12-play, 73-yard drive with a six-yard toss to Smalls followed by a Tremblay point after for a 37-16 lead.

The Aggies, though, scored three minutes into the fourth quarter with a 26-yard touchdown pass and PAT and then with less than two minutes on the clock, returned a punt 85 yards to make it a one-possession game.
