Orono, Maine -- The America East Conference announced on Tuesday morning the 2025-26 conference schedules for the men's basketball programs.

The Black Bears, who are coming off of their best season in 20 years, which included a 20-14 record overall, a 10-6 conference record and a trip to the America East Championship, are set to square off with the Bryant Bulldogs in a 2024-25 championship rematch to kickoff the conference season on Saturday, Jan. 3 in Orono.

Maine then heads on one of their two three-game road trips during conference play as they make stops at UMBC on Thursday, Jan. 8, NJIT on Saturday, Jan. 10 and Vermont on Thursday, Jan. 15. The Black Bears went 4-0 against NJIT and UMBC combined last season, while going 1-2 against Vermont, with the win coming in the America East semifinals. Maine snapped a 30-game losing streak against the Catamounts in that matchup.

The Black Bears return to Orono on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for the Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle against UNH, kicking off a three-game homestand. Maine will host UAlbany on Thursday, Jan. 22 and Binghamton on Saturday, Jan. 24 to round off the three-game week. Maine was a perfect 3-0 at home against the three teams and 4-2 overall last season.

After a quick trip to UMass Lowell on Saturday, Jan. 31, Maine returns home for one game against Vermont on Thursday, Feb. 5 before heading to Bryant on Saturday, Feb. 7. Maine swept the River Hawks last season, winning all three games by a combined 10 points.

Maine will play host to UMBC on Thursday, Feb. 12 and NJIT on Saturday, Feb. 14 before venturing out for one final road trip in the regular season, stopping at UNH on Saturday, Feb. 21, UAlbany on Thursday, Feb. 26 and Binghamton on Saturday, Feb. 28.

The regular season concludes on Tuesday, Mar. 3 as UMass Lowell travels to Orono for the regular season finale.
