ORONO, Maine – Senior forward
Harrison Scott of the University of Maine men's ice hockey team has signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars for the 2025-26 season, as announced on Monday by the organization. Scott will report to the Texas Stars (AHL) on an Amateur Tryout (ATO) for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.

Scott set career-highs across the board this season, recording collegiate bests in goals (18), assists (17), points (35), face-off wins (421), face-off winning percentage (.567) and shots on goal (133). The alternate captain, who led the Black Bears in points and goals, was a two-time Hockey East Player of the Week. In helping Maine to its first conference tournament title since 2004, Scott was also named to the Hockey East All-Tournament Team. He had seven multi-point games, four multi-goal games and two four-point games in 2024-25.

The San Jose, Calif. native finished his collegiate career with 88 points on 45 goals and 43 assists, with 62 of those points coming in his two seasons as a Black Bear. He was just the eighth Hockey East player since the start of the 2005-06 season score 30 goals in their first 60 career games in the league.
