Maine Athletics announces hockey postseason ticket structure

In preparation of hosting Hockey East playoff games, Maine Athletics announces a new playoff ticket priority structure for men’s and women’s hockey.

ORONO, Maine – In preparation of hosting Hockey East playoff games, Maine Athletics announces a new playoff ticket priority structure for men's and women's hockey.

With the current Hockey East playoff structure, the men's team would potentially host one game on either Wednesday, March 12 (Opening Round) OR Friday, March 14/Saturday, March 15 (Quarterfinal Round). The women's team would host one game on either Wednesday, February 26 (Opening Round) OR Friday, February 28/Saturday, March 1 (Quarterfinal Round). The women's semifinals will be held on Wednesday, March 5.

MEN'S PLAYOFF TICKET PRIORITY TIMELINE
Season Ticket Holders and Donors - Feb. 18 - Mar. 7
General Public - No later than Mar. 8

WOMEN'S PLAYOFF TICKET PRIORITY TIMELINE
Season Ticket Holders and Donors - Feb. 18 - Feb. 25
General Public - No later than Feb. 22

Season Ticket Holders
Current season ticket holders will be given first priority to purchase tickets. Season ticket holders may purchase the same number of tickets that they had during the regular season. For the men's program, full season ticket holders will be guaranteed their seat location. Half season ticket holders have seats reserved but due to demand, it is not guaranteed that these are in the same location as their regular season seats.

Playoff tickets for season ticket holders exclusively go on sale Feb. 18.  Women's tickets will remain available until Feb. 25 and men's tickets will remain available until Mar. 7.

If a season member purchases playoff tickets and Maine does not host a contest, the funds collected will instead be applied as a deposit towards 2025-26 season ticket purchases.

Donors
Alfond Fund donors will be given next priority. Starting Feb. 18, those who have contributed $1,000+ in the last year or have surpassed $25,000 in lifetime giving to Maine Athletics will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public on-sale date. Each donor household may purchase up to two tickets.

General Public
Tickets to the general public will not be available until after Maine has officially clinched a home playoff game.

The ticket office will reach out with instructions on how to purchase and additional information before each group's on sale date.

TD Garden - Men's Hockey East Championship
The men's semifinals and finals will be hosted at the TD Garden in Boston on Thursday, Mar. 20 and Friday, Fri. 21. Tickets for those games are on sale now and we recommend purchasing in advance. Maine Athletics may be granted access to a small allotment of tickets for purchase by season members, but this will not be confirmed until a later date. For information and details on how to purchase tickets now, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Toscano Family Ice Forum - Women's Hockey East Championship
The women's championship game will be hosted by UConn at the Toscano Family Ice Forum on Saturday, March 8. Tickets to the women's championship event can be purchased online through UConn Athletics
