ORONO, Maine - After a 33-save shutout on Friday night, the first of her career, Kiia Lahtinen was named Hockey East's Goaltender of the week, the conference announced Monday.

Lahtinen, a rookie from Porvoo, Finland led the Black Bears to their first ranked victory of the season over #12/13 Northeastern, by a score of 2-0. This award is the first Hockey East accolade for Kiia Lahtinen.

Lahtinen has started in 19 games for Maine, holding a .905 save percentage this season.
