ORONO, Maine – The #11/12 University of Maine men's ice hockey fell to New Hampshire, 3-2, on Saturday night at Alfond Arena.

Maine took a 1-0 lead less than three minutes into the contest, with
Josh Nadeau tapping in a feed from
Brandon Holt. The Wildcats responded four minutes later.

UNH took a 2-1 lead at the 9:18 mark of the second period and added a third goal less than three minutes later.

Holt would pull Maine within one early in the third period with his third goal of the season but the Wildcats held off the Maine rally for the 3-2 final.
