ORONO, Maine – The #11/12 University of Maine men's ice hockey team fell to the University of New Hampshire, 1-0, on Friday night at Alfond Arena.
The teams were scoreless through the first two periods, with Maine holding a 17-5 lead in shots on goal after 40 minutes.

The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead four minutes into the third period with Cam MacDonald skating on to a loose puck at the edge of the neutral zone and breaking down for the clean finish. The Black Bears were unable to find an equalizer.
