Orono, Maine -- The Fred Mitchell Award committee has announced that Samuel Trembaly of the University of Maine football program has been named a finalist for the award for the 2025 season.

Tremblay, a red-shirt freshmen out of Quebec City, Quebec, was one of the best kickers in the country as he was 9-for-10 on field goal tries and he was 35-for-36 on PAT's during the season. He connected on a season-long 45-yard attempt at Merrimack and hit a a career-best five PAT's against Elon.
