Orono, Maine -- The Phil Steele Committee announced that Rashawn Marshall was named a Freshmen Third Team All-American.

Marshall, a red-shirt freshmen out of Newark, N.J. had a breakout season for the Black Bears as he ranked second on the Black Bears in total touchdowns by a skills position player as he had five during the 2025 season. He amassed 684 rushing yards on 128 carries (5.3 YAC), averaging 57 yards per game, along with four rushing scores. He added 21 catches for 147 yards and another touchdown on the season, leading to 831 all-purpose yards, the second-most all-purpose yards by any Black Bear on the season.
