PORTLAND, Maine –
Owen Fowler scored three minutes, three seconds into overtime to life the #15/18 University of Maine men's ice hockey team to a 5-4 win over UMass Lowell on Wednesday night at Cross Insurance Arena.

The teams combined for four goals in the first period, with UMass Lowell sandwiching scores around two Maine goals. The River Hawks then took a 3-2 lead three minutes into the second period before
Justin Poirier potted his second of the game for a 3-3 game after two frames.

The River Hawks scored a power-play goal just 24 seconds into the third period.
Frank Djurasevic's power-play tally with six minutes to play sent the game to overtime where Fowler's strike gave the Black Bears the win.
