ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team will host Boston University for a pair of conference games Nov. 7/8 at Alfond Arena. Game times are set for 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM, respectively. Both games will stream on ESPN+, and Saturday's game will also air on NESN.Â
Saturday's game will feature a Student T-shirt Giveaway for the first 50 students who attend. Additionally, the team will host a Skate with the Bears event after the game presented by Hannaford. More information about the Skate with the Bears event below.

BLACK BEARS' LAST TIME OUT:
- This past weekend Maine lost and tied to Providence College.
- Friday's OT loss ended 3-2 when Providence scored with 37 seconds left in the overtime period.
- Saturday's tie ended 1-1, as Providence picked up the shootout win and extra conference point.
- Frederikke Foss led the Black Bears with two goals - one in each game - as linemates Ali Altiman and Dani Brunette each tallied two assists.
- Lily Fetch was the other goal scorer on Friday, with Ava Stevenson and Isabelle Michaud earning assists.
- Goaltender Kiia Lahtinen played in goal both nights, stopping a weekend total of 52 saves.

- Graduate goaltender Michelle Pasiechnyk made 37 saves in Friday's loss and Clara Yuhn was the lone goal scorer.
- On Saturday, Yuhn tallied another goal as well as Greta Henderson and Sydney Healey, who leads the team in goals and points.
- Goaltender Mari Pietersen started on Saturday and made 14 saves and had 4 GA. Michelle Pasiechnyk saw the second half of the game letting in two goals.
- The Terriers currently have the 3rd hardest strength of schedule in the NCAA.

Saturday's game will feature a Student T-shirt Giveaway for the first 50 students who attend. Additionally, the team will host a Skate with the Bears event after the game. This popular family event is a great opportunity for fans of all ages to meet the players from both the men's and women's ice hockey teams and have their pictures taken with the players. Participants – on skates or on their feet – will be able to gather as many autographs as they can.

 Skates will not be permitted inside Alfond Arena during the contest. Fans will have to leave their skates in their vehicles during the game and retrieve them after the game ends.

 Fans wishing to attend Skate with the Bears are not required to have a ticket to that day's game. HOWEVER, if you do not have a ticket to the game, you will not be allowed into Alfond Arena for the Skate with the Bears event until the conclusion of the game.
