CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The #10/11 University of Maine men's ice hockey team fell on the road at #15 Boston College, 7-3, on Friday night at Conte Forum.

The Eagles took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission on the strength of two power-play goals and added a third tally six minutes into the second period.
Owen Fowler put Maine on the board at the 13:05 mark of the middle frame for a 3-1 game after two periods.

Charlie Russell made it a one-goal game just 20 seconds into the third period only to see BC go back up by two three minutes later.
Justin Poirier again pulled Maine within a goal, scoring on the power play with 11:07 to play. The Eagles, though, would score two goals, two minutes apart and tack on an empty-net goal for the 7-3 final.
