HAMDEN, Conn. – The #7 University of Maine men's hockey team fell to #10 Quinnipiac, 4-0, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at M&T Bank Arena.
The Bobcats took advantage of a five-minute power-play in the first period after Maine was called for kneeing, taking a 1-0 lead midway through the frame. Quinnipiac then scored at the 7:49 mark of the second period for a 2-0 lead after two. In the third period, Quinnipiac would score two power-play goals, with the second coming on Maine's second five-minute major of the contest, for the 4-0 final.
