Auburn, ME - The University of Maine women's cross country competed in the Maine State Meet hosted by Bates College Saturday morning. Maine finished in third place with a total of 99 points.

Addison Nelson finished in the top 13 overall and the first finisher for Maine with a time of 24:16.7. Anna Folley finished next for Maine at 16th overall with a time of 24:23.6. Freshman Searcy Mooney finished 21st overall with a time of 24:53.6.

The Black Bears will next compete in Columbia, Missouri against the University of Missouri on Sept. 27.
