Auburn, ME - The University of Maine men's cross country program competed in the Maine State Meet Saturday. Maine finished fifth with a total of 149 points.

Carter Libby finished with the top time for Maine with a time of 26:51.3. Freshman, Kyle McClellan finished next for Maine with a time of 27:47.8. Eli Palmer finished third for the Black Bears with a time of 27:58.4.

The Black Bears will travel to Columbia, Missouri for their next meet on Sept. 27.
