ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine men's cross country team competed in the University of Vermont Invitational on Saturday afternoon, finishing fourth with a total of 88 points.

Fisher Macklin led Maine with a ninth place finish at 26:04.9. Lucas Bergeron placed 14th with a time of 26:19.4 and was followed closely by Jack Burns who came across the line 15th in 26:20.6.

Maine will travel to Columbia, Missouri to face the University of Missouri on Sept. 27.
