ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine football team is excited to announce its promotional schedule for the 2024 five-game home schedule.

Aug. 30 vs. Colgate – 7:00 p.m. - Blue Out

• Join the Black Bears for a 'Friday Night Lights' edition of a Blue Out at Alfond Stadium! All fans are encouraged to wear blue to the home opener as the Black Bears host Colgate on a busy, move-in day in Orono
• Fans will receive the official Maine Football schedule poster and schedule magnets while supplies last
• The Black Bears are excited to welcome all students back to Orono! Students who attend the home opener will receive thundersticks, courtesy of the Law Offices of Joe Bornstein
• The 2023-24 America East Champion women's basketball team will be recognized during the game and available pregame for an autograph session from 6-6:45 p.m. in the Hannaford Kids Zone 

Sept. 14 vs. Monmouth – 3:30 p.m. - Cub Club Day - presented by Pepsi & F.W. Webb

• Maine squares off with Monmouth for the CAA opener for both teams!
• All Cub Club members may request a free ticket to the game. Family members of Cub Club members may also reserve a discounted ticket to the event. Contact the Black Bears box office for more information.
• The Black Bears welcome all Cub Club members to Alfond Stadium for several youth day events including the Hannaford Kids Zone, poster making stations, face painting, and more!
• Everyone's favorite clowns from the ANAH Shriners will be on hand to greet fans, offer balloon animals, and more!
• All Cub Club members who attend the game are invited to join us on the field postgame for football toss and photo opportunities 
• Support the Peanut Butter & Jelly Food Drive, presented by Bangor Savings Bank, by bringing a jar of peanut butter or jelly to the game! All proceeds will go to support the Black Bear Exchange

Oct. 19 vs. Villanova – 1:00 p.m. - Homecoming presented by Bangor Savings Bank

• Welcome Home, Black Bear Nation! It's Homecoming Weekend in Orono as the Black Bears take on Villanova in what's always sure to be a special time on campus!
• Fans will receive a commemorative Homecoming rally towel, courtesy of Bangor Savings Bank, while supplies last

Nov. 9 vs. Bryant  – 1:00 p.m. - Military Appreciation Day presented by General Dynamics Bath Iron Works, Game sponsors: Maine Distributors & Casella

• The Black Bears welcome all active military members, veterans, and their families to Alfond Stadium for the annual Military Appreciation Day game. 
• All current and former military members and their families are eligible for free tickets to the game. Tickets can be requested by calling 207.581.BEAR, by email at um.tickets@maine.edu, or in-person at the Alfond Arena box office.
• Fans will be treated to a flyover during the National Anthem courtesy of the 101st Air Refueling Wing of the Maine Air National Guard
• Fans will be treated to the Air National Guard 'Touch a Truck' and Flight Simulator displays while Bath Iron Works will be bringing out their Shipbuilder 1, Mobile Training Unit

Nov. 23 vs. New Hampshire  – 1:00 p.m. - Border Battle presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, KeyBank

• The 112th Battle for the Brice-Cowell musket concludes the regular season as the Black Bears welcome rival New Hampshire to Alfond Stadium
• Fan Appreciation Day - the Black Bears look forward to thanking our most loyal supporters and season ticket holders on the final regular season game of the year with prizes and recognitions throughout the day
• First 500 students receive a 'Beat UNH' t-shirt

The Black Bears will open the 2024 season on Friday, Aug. 30 when they host Colgate at 7 p.m. Season and single game tickets for the upcoming campaign are on sale now and can be purchased online at GoBlackBears.com/tickets, by phone at 207-581-BEAR, or in-person at the Alfond Arena box office during regular hours of operation.
