Men's Swim & Dive set two school records on day three of AE Championships

Lexington, Va. -- Nick Partridge and Maine's 400-yard medley relay team each set new school records for the Black Bears on day three of the America East Championships, hosted by the Virginia Military Institute.

After three days of competition, the Black Bears stand in fifth place with 276.5 points.

Partridge placed eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a final time of 55.77. His time of 54.98 in the prelim round of the event set the new school record for Maine.

Maine's team of Cam Watelet, Partridge, Calvin Comeau, and Finn Devers placed fifth in the 400-yard medley relay with a new school record time of 3:20.04.

Watelet led Maine on the day, tying for fourth in the 100-yard butterfly at 48.70.

Liam Hood added a sixth place finish in the 400-yard IM with a final time of 4:07.36.

Devers scored in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall eighth at 1:40.25.

DJ Mulligan led Maine on the 1m board, taking seventh with a final score of 218.55.
