PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --
Asta Blauenfeldt posted double-digit scoring efforts (17) for the second consecutive game to lead Maine in a 74-48 loss at Saint Joseph's on Monday evening.
Blauenfeldt 6-for-13 from the floor, 3-of-6 from three point range, to go along with two steals and two rebounds in her 17 point night.
Olivia Rockwood added 11 points with three triples.
The Hawks shot a blistering 29-for-48 (60.4) for the game including an 8-of-11 mark in the fourth quarter to close out the victory.
Maine finished the evening 19-of-51 (37.3) with seven triples.
The Black Bears got off to a slow start, shooting just 26.7 percent (4-15) in the first quarter, to allow the Hawks to jump out to a 18-9 lead after one.
Maine settled in and was able to outscore Saint Joseph's by a margin of 19-17 in the second quarter.
However, Saint Joseph's outscored the Black Bears 39-20 in the second half to seal the victory, 74-48.
Maine returns home to host Bates College on Dec. 21 at 2 p.m.
