Black Bears tripped up by Eagles on the road

Maine fell at #2 Boston College on Sunday afternoon, 3-0.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The #5 University of Maine men's ice hockey team fell on the road at #2 Boston College, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
 
For the second consecutive game, the Black Bears and Eagles played a scoreless first period. BC made it 1-0 midway through the second period and then doubled the lead midway through the third period. The hosts would add an empty-net goal with second seconds remaining.
