Orono, ME - The University of Maine Cross Country programs head on the road to Rindge, NH to take on Franklin Pierce University on Friday. The women's program will start at 12pm and then men's program will start the meet at 1pm.
Men's competitors to watch:
Luke Marsanskis: Luke last competed in the Gans Creek Invitational in Colombia, MO on September 27. He set a new personal best time in the 8k race with a time of 23:17.9 being named the America East Male Performer of the Week for that week. Look for Luke to build off that performance this weekend.
Jared Fortenberry: Jared also set a personal best in the Gans Creek Invitational with a time of 25:41.4. That 8k time helped him being named the America East Male Rookie of the Week. Jared will look to continue his strong stretch this weekend.
Women's competitors to watch:
Ryan O'Connor: Ryan comes off an America East Female Rookie of the Week award for her accomplishments at the Gans Creek Invitational on September 27. Ryan finished that race with a time of 22:01.5 which was a personal best for Ryan. Ryan will look to carry her momentum into the weekend.
Addison Nelson: Addison last competed back in the Maine State Championship on September 21. Her time of 24:16.7 was the best overall time for Maine in that meet, which also gave her a 13th place finish in the entire meet. Addison will look to continue her momentum heading into this weekend.
