ORONO, Maine – During the 2024-25 University of Maine men's ice hockey season, the University of Maine will implement various road closures, parking lot closures and traffic pattern changes throughout campus for every home game. 

These modifications, which are detailed below and viewable here, will help ease traffic congestion around Alfond Arena and provide added safety for pedestrians near the rink. UMaine Police will be present to assist with traffic flow procedures.
 

• VIP and ADA parking is available via Branch Road. 

  • Fans with these designations and passes are encouraged to arrive via Stillwater Ave in Old Town

• All other parking (including for Gold members, season ticket holders and single-game purchasers) is available via Sebec, Munson, and Rangeley Road entrances.

  • Visitors to campus are encouraged to arrive via exit 191 and drive through Orono to access campus. 

• Long Road and Tunk Road will close two hours before puck drop for pedestrian safety.

• All other blue and black signed lots are open to public.
