Orono, Maine -- University of Maine Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Van Wagner, are excited to announce that WEZQ 92.9 FM The Ticket is now the home for all UMaine Black Bears radio programming, to include football, men's hockey, men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball games, along with the live Black Bears Coaches Show.

"UMaine Athletics is happy to expand its partnership with Townsquare Media in Bangor," says Director of Athletics, Jude Killy. "We're pleased that all our teams will be featured on a sports station going forward, which will provide us more cross-promotional opportunities and the chance to reach new fans."

Going forward, all UMaine programming will be found on WEZQ 92.9 FM The Ticket in eastern Maine, unless there's a conflict between sports, in which case football will air on WWMJ 95.7 FM. The Black Bear Sports Network will continue to include WLOB 1310 AM in Portland, which will carry all football and men's hockey games, select basketball games and the Black Bears Coaches Show.

WEZQ 92.9 FM The Ticket is also the home for the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics. The station features a strong signal extending to Bar Harbor and Belfast on the coast, Lincoln to the north, and comfortably covering the Dover-Foxcroft, Dexter, and Waterville regions. WWMJ 95.7 FM is the home for the New England Patriots.
