Orono, ME - The University of Maine track and field team heads to UMass to compete in a meet on Apr. 28 and 29.

Notable Performances

• The University of Maine men's and women's track and field team each placed fourth at the Holy Cross Invitational, the men with 82.5 points and the women with 89 points.

• Mackenzie Wilson set a new University of Maine record in the hammer throw coming in first in the event with a mark of 61.58, moving up to first on Maine's all-time top-10 list.

• Jessica Kroushl had an impressive day coming in third in the 100m with a time of 12.10 that tied her for fifth on Maine's all-time top-10 list. Kroushl also placed fourth in the 200m (25.54).

• In the shot put, Paige Boudreau placed second (13.03m) and moved to sixth on Maine's all-time top-10 list. Stella Inman placed third (12.57m) and became tenth on Maine's all-time top-10 list. Lastly, Claudia Damboise  placed fifth with a 12.04m mark.

• Ashley Martinez placed first in the high jump with a mark of 1.65m.

• Julia Feid placed first in the Javelin throwing at 40.59m.

• Cole Martin placed first in the 100m with a time of 10.54 and placed fifth in the 200m with a time of 22.10.

• In the discus, Nathan Holst-Grubbe came in second (50.67m) and moved into third all time for Maine in the event. Marek Veal placed fifth (48.47m) and is now tied for ninth on Maine's all-time top-10 list.

• Jason Santa Cruz placed third in the Javelin with a mark of 57.29m.
