Worcester, MA - The University of Maine men's track and field team had many strong performances at the Holy Cross Invitational coming in fourth with 82.5 points.

Cole Martin placed first in the 100m with a time of 10.54. Martin had more PRs including coming in fifth in the 200m with a time of 22.10 that puts him tenth on Maine's all-time top-10 list.  

In the discus Maine set more school records with Nathan Holst-Grubbe coming in second (50.67m) and moving into third all time for Maine in the event. Marek Veal placed fifth (48.47m) and is now tied for ninth on Maine's all-time top-10 list.

Maine had another first place finish from Luke Marsanakis in the 5000m coming in with a time of 15:02.76.

Will Murphy came in third for the triple jump with a mark of 13.40m and Denis Simost Sima Matha came in right behind him earning fourth (13.37m).

In the hammer throw, Lewis Roebuck threw to 56.07m for third place and Nathan Holst-Grubbe threw to 54.38m to place fourth right behind Roebuck.

Jason Santa Cruz placed third in the Javelin with a mark of 57.29m.

Maine had a few fourth place finishes including Tanner Burton in the 110 hurdles (15.18), Elijah White in the long jump (6.66m), and Jonathan Prell in the shot put (16.00m).

Will Murphy placed fifth in the high jump (1.80m).
