Women’s Track and Field Place Second at UMass

Amherst, MA - The University of Maine women's track and field place second at UMass Commonwealth Invite with 121.50 points.
Jessica Kroushal had a strong day of performances placing first in the 100m with a score of 12.26 moving her up to ninth on Maine's all-time top-10 list. She also placed second in the 200m (25.58).
Paige Boudreau placed second in the shot put with 12.74m moving her to seventh on Maine's all-time top-10 list. Maine had more strong performances in the shot put from Claudia Damboise who placed third with a 12.66m mark and is now eighth on Maine's all-time top-10 list.
In the hammer throw, Mackenzie Wilson placed first (60.84m) and Cheyenne Figueroa was right behind her placing second (53.19m).
Julia Feid placed first in the javelin throw with a mark of 43.15m.
Maine had four more second place finishes from the meet. Darcy Cochran in the 100m hurdles (14.97), Yasmen Farag in the pole vault (3.50m), Emma White in the triple jump (11.21m), and Cheyenne Figeroa in the discus 42.56m.
On the track side Jaymie Sidaway placed third in the 5000m (19:05.99).
On the high jump, Ashley Martinez placed third with a 1.62m mark and Grace Minkin placed third in the long jump with a 5.41m mark.
