Providence, RI - The University of Maine men's and women's track and field teams compete at Friar Invitational in different track events.
Rachel Hodge led the way for the Black Bears, placing seventh in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 12:18.94 also placing her seventh on Maine's all-time top-10 list.
The men had strong showings in the 1 mile run with Evan Thornton-Sherman placing ninth (4:05.63) and Alec Troxell finishing in twenty-seventh (4:13.06).
Lastly the men in the 5000 run were led by Fisher Macklin who placed thirtieth coming in at a time of 15:03.57,
The women also had two more strong showings from Tegan Morrison and Anna Folley. Morrison in the 800m run (2:19.55) placing twenty-fourth and Folley in the 1 mile run (5:44.14) coming in thirty-fifth.
