Men’s Track and Field Sits in First After Day One of Black & Gold Invitational

Smithfield, RI - The University of Maine men's track and field team currently sits in first place with 29 points after day one of the Black & Gold Invitational. 

Nathan Holst-Grubbe led the way for the Black Bears earning first in the hammer with a mark of 57.90m which also placed him third on Maine's all-time top-10 list. 

Jonathan Prell also had a strong day for Maine, placing fourth in the shot put finishing with a distance of 15.26m.

On the track side in the 10000 m Lucas Bergeron placed third coming in with a time of 31:41.39.
