Boston, MA - The University of Maine men's track and field team placed fourth at the America East Indoor Championships with 87 points and earned five more medals on day two making the total medals earned one gold, two silver and five bronze medals.

Notable Performances:

• Eamon Sweeney earned a silver medal in the 60 HH with a time of 8.33 and ranked fourth in Maine's All-Time Top-10 list. 
• Zachary Beaton placed third in the heptathlon with 4688 points bringing home the bronze medal for Maine.
• Jonathan Prell had a strong performance in the shot put with a mark of 15.97m earning him the bronze medal.
• In the 60 Dash, Cole Martin had a speedy run finishing in 6.84 and placing third for Maine.
• Alec Troxell brought home the final bronze medal for the men in the 3000m run with a time of 8:25.45.
• The men had more strong performances in the shot put coming from Ryker Brown (15.08m) placing sixth and Nathan Holst-Grubbe (14.97m) placing seventh.
• Maine brought home two fourth place finishes in the 400 dash and 1600 relay. Conner Michaud ran the 400 dash in 49.03 and Owen Mild, Eamon Sweeney, Josh Sewell, and Conner Michaud ran the 1600 relay in 3:17.20.
• Evan Thornton-Sherman placed fifth in the mile run with a time of 4:08.74.
• In the 60 dash, Ben Cotton ended in sixth with a time of 7.08.
