Maine Athletics set to host America East Cross Country Championships at Penobscot Valley Country Club

Event to take place on Friday, Oct. 27
Orono, Maine – The University of Maine will play host to the 2023 America East Cross Country Championships on Friday, Oct. 27 at Penobscot Valley Country Club.
Schedule:
The men's 8k race will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the women's 5k at 11 a.m. An awards ceremony will take place at approximately 12:15 p.m. Admission to the America East Cross Country Championships is free.

Rules and Regulations:
Penobscot Valley Country Club and the America East request no dogs and no bikes at the event.

Parking:
Parking at Penobscot Valley Country Club will be limited. The University of Maine and the America East Conference encourage fans to park on campus at Alfond Arena and utilize the shuttle bus service to and from the championship event. Please see below for scheduled shuttle bus service times:

Leaving Penobscot Valley Country Club:

Directions:
Penobscot Valley Country Club is located at 366 Main Street, Orono, Maine.
Take Route 95 (North or South) to Exit 191, "Kelly Road, Orono". (If coming from the North, turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Kelly Road. If coming from the South, turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Kelly Road.) Follow Kelly Road approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Main Street. The Club is visible on the left side of the road almost immediately after turning onto Main Street.
