Providence, Rhode Island - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell to Providence College in the second game of the series by a score of 3-2.

The Friars continued to build on the one-goal lead adding two more goals early in the second period. Similarly to Friday's matchup, Maine turned up the energy to combat the three-goal deficit.

The third period was scoreless, but came with many chances for the Black Bears, especially in the last two minutes when they pulled the goalie for an extra attacker.
Julia Bachetti made 30 saves on 33 shots for Maine.
