Orono, ME - In honor of 25 years of the program's history, UMaine Athletics is highlighting the ten top moments of Maine women's ice hockey over the past 25 years.
Tereza Vanišová scored two goals and had two assists in a weekend split with Dartmouth on Nov. 29 - 30, 2019 to become Maine Women's Hockey's all-time career points leader.
Vanišová was a forward on the women's hockey team for four years and over her time earned 129 points to become the all-time career points leader with 63 goals and 66 assists in 129 games played.
During her first season as a Black Bear, Vanišová earned 28 points on 16 goals and 12 assists. The 2017-18 season Vanišová gathered her most points in a single season (46) with 16 goals and 30 assists. Vanišová continued to collect more points in the 2018-19 season where she had 17 goals and seven assists earning her 24 points. In her final season at Maine, where she became the new all-time career points leader, she had 14 goals, 17 assists, and 31 points.
