Football to host annual ‘Meet the Black Bears & Family Movie Night’ - Aug. 24

Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine football team's annual Meet the Black Bears night, presented by the Maine Dairy and Nutrition Council, returns on Wednesday, Aug. 24 at Alfond Stadium!
 
Following the free on-field clinic, fans are invited to stick around and enjoy pizza and beverages on the field, while watching a free showing of Minions: The Rise of Gru on the video board!

The Meet the Black Bears clinic is FREE and open to all ages and will begin at 6 p.m. on Morse Field. Fans wishing to attend are asked to register by clicking HERE. Bear Necessities fan shop will be open with extended hours in support of the event, staying open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Fans attending the free clinic will have the opportunity to meet players and coaches, get FREE posters and autographs, as well as take part in a FREE pizza party along with a family movie night showing of Minions: The Rise of Gru. The Maine Dairy and Nutrition Council will also be on hand handing out chocolate milk and rally towels while hosting a "Moo-Ga" (yoga) station.

The Meet the Black Bears event marks the first official Bananas Cub Club, presented by Bangor Savings Bank, for the 2022-23 season. Not yet a member of the Bananas Cub Club? Sign-up your child HERE for free!
