Cochran, Feid, Wilson register victories at Wildcat Invitational

Durham, N.H. -- Darcy Cochran, Julia Feid, and Mackenzie Wilson each scored victories in their respective events at Saturday's Wildcat Invitational II at UNH.
Feid continued her impressive start to the outdoor season with a winning throw of 41.11m in the javelin. Shanna Scribner added a bronze in the javelin with a mark of 35.20m.
Mackenzie Wilson moved into fourth on Maine's all-time top-10 list in the hammer with a winning mark of 55.32m. Erica Magnuson placed fourth in the event at 42.61m.
Darcy Cochran paced the field in the 110m hurdle, crossing the line in first place at 15.01.
Emma White was the runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 11.13m. Katherine Cowan and Ashley Martinez each tied for second in the high jump, clearing 1.57m.
Elaina Panagakos posted Maine's ninth best shot put throw in school history at 12.18m, good for fifth in the event.
Yasmen Farag moved into a tie for fourth on Maine's all-time top-10 list after clearing 3.40m in the pole vault.
The team of Panagakos, Caitlin Sardelis, Erika Lawson, and Cochran finished third in the 4x100m relay at 52.89.
