Women's Track & Field complete day one of UConn Northeast Challenge

Storrs, Conn. -- The University of Maine women's track & field team stands in 10th place with nine points after day one of the UConn Northeast Challenge.
Julia Feid had Maine's top finish of the day, placing second in the javelin at 41.30m. Shanna Scribner placed 10th in the event with a throw of 37.93m followed by Kendall Willard in 12th at 35.14m.
Erica Magnuson led the Black Bears in the discus event with an eighth place mark of 41.66m. Rebekah Hunnewell-Dunphe finished 20th in the event at 34.65m while Paige Boudreau's mark of 30.32m placed her 25th.
Emma White took 12th in the triple jump with a final mark of 11.18m.
